The semi finals and finals of the McMaster Cup 2026, took place at NICS on 5th September. NICS is the home green of the 2026 IWBA President, Paula Montgomery. The semi finalists were Markethill (NIWBA), NICS (NIWPGL) Limavady (PTWBA) and Crumlin (ILB). Markethill were drawn against NICS. It was a very hard fought game, and the Markethill ladies were well in the game for many ends. However, NICS did then edge it slightly and Markethill ended up losing the game by 12 shots.

Unfortunately all NIWBA representatives were beaten in the semi finals at the IWBA Finals in NICS. Newcastle are this year's winners of the Wingrave Cup after beating Dungannon 54-51 in today's final in Bangor. It was a hard fought game which went down to the last bowl. The victorious Newcastle team receiving the Wingrave cup from NIWBA President Helen Brown.
