Singles player Jennifer McClure (Castle Park) came up against Margaret Letham from Scotland, who has won about every honour in the game. Jennifer played really well but didn't manage to claim a medal in Wales.

The Rinks from Portadown fought very hard in their game, but against very strong opposition they just didn't make it to the final.

Better news for the U25 Pairs (Mia Patterson (Lurgan) and Sophie McIntyre (Limavady). They won through to the Final and although leading for most of the game, they lost by one shot, but came home with a Silver medal.

Also, well done to Lara Reaney (Portadown) in the U25 Singles. Lara played great bowls, and led for most of the final. It looked as if she was going to win a gold medal, but she was 'pipped' at the post, and had to settle for silver.
