Markethill win first trophy

In a very keenly and closely fought Joyce Kavanagh Trophy  Final played yesterday at Castle Park, Newcastle, Markethill beat Curran by 3 shots. The game was very close during the entire 18 ends, and produced a lot of great bowling, and Markethill, in their first season in the NIWBA, have won their first trophy. WELL PLAYED LADIES.


Result: Curran 31 shots -  Markethill 34 shots.
